"I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ." Philemon 6

God commands us to share our faith in Him.  Matthew 28:18-20, John 20:21, I Peter 3:15.  But, many do not because of fear.  Fear of failing, losing a friend, not having the right answers, etc.

Remember!  Success is not bringing someone to Christ.  Success is living the Christian life day by day, sharing the gospel, and trusting God for the results.  God does the work.  I Corinthians 2:3-5.  Therefore, we cannot fail.  It is all God's work.

Use Questions that Determine Where God is Working and Simply Listen

• Do you have any kind of spiritual belief?
• To you, who is Jesus?
• Do you think there is a heaven and a hell?
• If you died right now, where would you go?
• If what you believe were not true, would you want to know?

                "Yes" - Open Bible, "No" - Do Nothing

Let the Bible Speak - Have them read the following verses out loud.  After each, ask "What does this say to you?"

• Romans 3:23 - "All have sinned."
• Romans 6:23 - "The wages of sin is death."
• John 3:3 - "You must be born again." Ask, "Why did Jesus come to die?"
• John 14:6 - "I am the way."
• Romans 10:9-11 - "If you confess...you will be saved!"
• 2 Corinthians 5:15 - "No longer live for themselves."
• Revelation 3:20 - "I stand at the door and knock."

Close with Key Questions

• Are you a sinner?
• Do you want forgiveness for your sins?
• Do you believe Jesus died on the cross and rose again?
• Are you willing to surrender your life to Christ?
• Are you ready to invite Jesus into your life and into your heart?
